Black Panther Carved Obsidian

This is a carved black obsidian Panther. He is 4.75 inches long and 1.75 inches tall. He weighs 145 grams. The large one is 5.75 inches long and 2.1 inches tall and he weighs 11.5OZ or 322 grams. The largest Panther is Obsidian and 9" Long x 3" tall and weighs 2LB and 4.8OZ. He is stunning. Obsidian is an igneous rock that forms above the Earth's surface when molten rock cools very quickly. The result is a volcanic glass with a smooth, uniform texture. Obsidian can be found where lava comes into contact with water and around the edges of a volcanic dome or lava flow.
