Moonstone Towers

These are beautiful moonstone towers with a lot of flash. #1 is 3.8 inches and weighs 120 grams, #2 is 4.5 inches and weighs 182 grams, and #3 3.75 inches and weighs 151 grams. Moonstones are most recognized for having a transparent, milky appearance, though not all moonstones appear this way. These gemstones come in a variety of colors, each one meaning something different.
Moonstones are revered among monks, shamans, and other spiritualists across many cultures. In Ancient Rome, moonstones were used to illuminate and protect roads at night. In the Hindu religion, Ganesh, god of the moon, has a moonstone embedded in his forehead.
The finest moonstones are found mainly in Sri Lanka and Southern India. Other varieties occur Australia, Armenia, Mexico, Brazil, and the United States. The rainbow variety of moonstone can be found in India and Madagascar.
