These are obsidian ravens with a matte finish. The large one is 3.8" tall and weighs 8.1 OZ. The smaller one is 2.3" tall and weighs 3.4OZ. In Greek mythology, ravens were messengers of Apollo and were originally white. In one legend, Apollo sent a raven to spy on his lover, Coronis, and when the raven returned with news that Coronis had been unfaithful, Apollo burned the raven, turning its feathers black. This is why ravens are now black.
